About Mr Prempeh
Mr E Mark Prempeh is a Consultant Orthopaedic Spinal Surgeon at the Mid Essex Hospital Trust (Broomfield) and East Suffolk North Essex Foundation Trust (Ipswich).
Special clinical interests include spinal infections, minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery for lumbar spine, anterior lumbar surgery and scoliosis surgery.

Mr Prempeh is a keen advocate of PRP and Stem Cell treatment and works alongside world renowned Dr C Prodromos.
Mr Prempeh has extensive experience in the treatment and management of spine conditions including;
- Radiculopathy (sciatica)
- Myelopathy (compression of spinal cord)
- Stenosis (central, recess and foraminol)
- Tumours (cancer)
- Instability (arthritis and spondylolisthesis)

Why Essex Spine
We believe each patient should be assessed holistically via a face to face appointment. During this appointment we take a thorough history and perform a clinical examination. From this assessment we will then request appropriate investigation(s). Once these are performed the results will be explained and treatment options discussed.
